How does our service work?
Tie-My-Knot is an online rental service providing its members with access to bow ties, cuff links and other accessories (“items”), mailed to member's business or residence. We offer a variety of specials and promotions with no limitations on the number of items rentable during a week's period.
We reserve the right in our sole discretion to make changes from time to time and without notice in how we operate our service. Any descriptions of how our service works should not be considered a representation or obligation with respect to how the service will always work. We are constantly making adjustments to our service and often these adjustments are not completely captured within these Terms of Service.
We do not warrant that any of the software used and or licensed in connection with our service will be compatible with other third party software nor do we warrant that operation of our service and the associated software will not damage or disrupt other software or hardware. WE DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY OR OTHERWISE WARRANT THE PERFORMANCE OF THESE DEVICES, INCLUDING THE CONTINUING COMPATIBILITY OF THE DEVICE WITH OUR SERVICE. By using our service, you agree to look solely to the entity that manufactured and/or sold you the device for any issues related to the device and its compatibility with the Tie-My-Knot service and website.
If I purchase more than one bow-tie does that increase my rental period?
Unfortunately to provide the best access to our products, we limit rentals to one week regardless of the number of products rented at one time. That period is based on the date of payment.
Do you only provide self-tie bow ties?
We provide the adult bow ties in self tie only. Our kids ties are clip-on, some with strap or with metal clip.
Are my email and credit card information kept confidential and secure?
Yes, none of your information is sold or given out. In addition, your credit card information is protected by the secure sites we use.
Can I change or cancel an order that I have already placed?
Unfortunately, once the product has been processed, it cannot be cancelled or changed.
Why do many of the products say "sold out"?
Due to the fact we limit our quantities and our products are in high demand, it will list it as "SOLD OUT". This simply lets you, the customer, know it is currently being rented and will soon be available. Feel free to contact us via email at email@example.com and in the subject line "WAITLIST" and we will gladly inform you of its next availability.
How soon after my purchase are my products sent?
Within 24 hours of your purchase, your products are sent along with our card, which will include due date. You will be contacted via email that it has been sent.
Are your bow ties cleaned and inspected between rents?
Yes, not only do we have them professionally cleaned, each bow tie has been guarded with a silicone covering in an effort to afford each renter with a product free of stains and smells.
When do we receive our deposits back?
It will be returned back to your account between 1-7 business days depending on you bank.
Do I have to put another deposit down if I choose to rent on back to back weeks?
Not at all! We will give you a coupon code to use! It will allow us to use your current deposit, all you have to do is pay for the rental. However, if more than one item are damaged, we will charge the corresponding deposit to the respective damaged item.
How often are new bow ties and accessories added?
We add new products every month.
Is there a price to use your bow ties and accessories in photo shoots?
Absolutely not! We support all photo shoots with our product FREE of charge for ANY photo shoots. We will come to your location and tie the bow tie(s) for you and pair up a pocket square or cufflink of your choice, at no cost to you. (*In the local Charlotte area only.)
